Md. Hafizur Rahman, an irregular day laborer, earns about87 to 9 thousand taka per month. He and his wife live in Satkhira with their three children. He lives in a house that is only one room and is also in a very shaby condition. This house was built long ago and is their ancestral property. They applied for the help from BRIC Foundation to build their house, as they cant afford to rebuild the house with their own income.

BRIC Foundation accepted the application and decided to build a house for them. This house is 20 feet by 16 feet. It has two rooms and one balcony.

The house is designed by Architect Arshia Butul and the structure is done by XXXXXX. Construction of the site began in March, 2025 and completed in July 2025. House was formally handed over to the family in August 2025.
