Program Details -

Location: Pratap Nagar ( Dakhinait ), Post Office- Assasuni, District. - Sathkhira

Beneficiaries: About 60 families are getting pure water for drinking and cooking purposes.

Distance: About 1km away from project CWP 102. The area is densely populated.

Members of BRIC Foundation wanted to improve the quality of life of poor people within their own limited capacities. As part of this, they started the deep tubewell project long before the official formation of BRIC Foundation. This project was their third initiative for clean water dated back early 2021.

Remarks: This is a flood-prone area having excessive salty water from the river Kholpetua. So, during the flood time people of the surrounding areas are using this water as the direct Rahmat of Allah SWT. The Musallis of the Masjid are happy to use this water.

Comment - Alhamdulillah the tube wells are supplying sweet water with full flow. The quality of works, height and strength of the foundation of the tube well have been the new models for other areas.

Alhamdu Lillah due to 500 meters depth of the pipes the water does not get mixed with saline water during flood. May Allah SWT accept all the sadaqah on behalf of Morhums/Murabbis (ameen).
