Harun Ur Rashid Gazi, an irregular day laborer, earns about eight to nine thousand taka per month. He and his wife live in Satkhira with their three children. He lives in an old wood /tin house that is only one room and is also in a very bad condition. This house is their ancestral property. They applied for the help from BRIC Foundation to build their house, as they can’t afford to rebuild the house with their own income.

BRIC Foundation accepted the application and decided to build a house for them. This house is 20 feet by 16 feet. It has two rooms and one balcony.
Construction of the site began in March, 2025 and and is expected to be completed in July 2025. House will be formally handed over to the family in August 2025.
